Jereh Debuts World's First AI·R FRAC System on All-Electric Shale Platform

As the core area for shale gas development in China, the Sichuan-Chongqing region faces challenges such as complex deep reservoirs, high wear and tear on conventional fracturing equipment, and low operational efficiency. Jereh Group has now achieved the first large-scale deployment of its globally pioneering AI·R FRAC intelligent fracturing system at an all-electric fracturing platform in Liangping, Chongqing. Leveraging AI to analyze data in real time, predict risks, and optimize decision-making, the system overcomes traditional bottlenecks such as short plunger pump lifespan, high manifold vibration, and frequent maintenance. The Sichuan-Chongqing region stands as the main battlefield for shale gas in China, home to the country's largest cluster of shale gas wells and rich in strategic energy resources. However, development has been hampered by complex geological formations and deep burial of reserves. Traditional fracturing operations have long suffered from extreme high-pressure conditions, leading to drastically shortened plunger pump lifespans, increased consumption of wear parts, and severe manifold vibrations. Limited daily operating time and frequent maintenance have further hindered efficiency gains.

Now, as intelligent technologies are increasingly applied in oilfields, a transformative revolution is underway.
In March, with the spring breeze in the air, fracturing operations at a key platform in Liangping, Chongqing proceeded in an orderly fashion. This is not only the region’s first ultra-deep all-electric fracturing platform but also the first large-scale deployment of Jereh’s AI·R FRAC intelligent system. This milestone marks the start of a new era of one-click intelligent control in oil and gas development empowered by AI.

For this operation, Jereh deployed 18 units of the 6000 series electric fracturing pumps, one electric blending skid, and one electric hydration skid, all integrated with its self-developed AI·R FRAC intelligent fracturing system.

It overcomes reliance on manual observation and judgment during traditional operations, shifting from "human monitoring" to "AI safeguarding."

  • 45% Overall Efficiency Improvement:
    Through intelligent control, system integration, and collaborative innovation with efficient tools, the system boosts operational efficiency by 45% and optimizes staffing by 40%. Key operational actions can be completed in 5 seconds, and the system can independently manage the full fracturing workflow upon one-click activation. It includes an embedded pressure anomaly decision model, enabling real-time anomaly detection and autonomous decision-making, alongside automatic flow allocation and smart cruise control for all equipment.

  • 100% Safety Coverage:
    The integrated smart safety system employs manifold leak detection, personnel intrusion recognition, and flame monitoring technologies to cover every corner of the wellsite. With comprehensive coverage, rapid response, and high precision, it sets a new industry benchmark in intelligent safety systems.

With these three breakthroughs, Jereh’s system achieves seamless integration of traditional equipment and intelligent fracturing, utilizing real-time AI monitoring to enable full-lifecycle prediction and management. It continues to power energy development with robust momentum.
