On September 12th, the 13th China Shale Oil and Gas Development Conference with the theme of "Exploring Ultra Deep Shale Oil and Gas to Break Unconventional Technological Bottlenecks" was grandly opened at the Chengdu Century City International Convention Center.The conference invited over 30 heavyweight guests, including academicians, to attend one main forum, two sub forums, and four concurrent events. Exploration & Production 【Coal and Coalbed Methane Co Mining Forum held in Taiyuan】 Recently, the 2024 Taiyuan Energy Low Carbon Development Forum "Coal and Coalbed Methane Co Mining Forum" was held in Taiyuan. The forum revolves around the theme of "Innovation and Technology Leading, Promoting New Quality Productivity", bringing together top experts, scientific research elites, enterprise representatives, and local government representatives from the energy fields of coalbed methane and other energy from across the country to discuss the efficient co mining and technological innovation of coal and coalbed methane resources, and to jointly explore the grand plan for the development of new quality productivity in the coalbed methane industry. 【Tianfu Gas Field's tight gas production reaches a historic high】 Since the beginning of this year, the tight oil and gas exploration and development project department has followed the overall idea of "emphasizing safety, strengthening management, improving efficiency, and setting benchmarks", focusing on the annual reserve production target. The daily production of tight gas in Tianfu gas field has exceeded 12 million cubic meters, reaching a historical high. Technology & Equipment 【Application of New Technologies in Shale Gas Wells in Guizhou Province】 On September 13th, good news came from the on-site application of the scientific and technological research results of the group company undertaken by the Unconventional Research Institute of China Petroleum Exploration and Development Research Institute. Based on the research results of the project, the Guizhou shale gas Anye 12-1HF, which was deployed and designed, has continuously increased its daily gas production per well after two months of trial production, and has now exceeded 40000 cubic meters, becoming the highest production and lowest development cost well in the block. 【Chuanqing Drilling and Huawei signed a digital transformation agreement】 Recently, Chuanqing Drilling signed a comprehensive cooperation framework agreement with Huawei. Both parties will closely cooperate on enterprise digital transformation, artificial intelligence, ecological collaboration, data governance, cloud base, etc., to jointly promote the high-quality development of the oil and gas engineering industry. This is another major measure taken by both parties to further deepen cooperation and jointly open a new chapter in the integrated development of oil and gas engineering technology and information and communication technology, following the unveiling of the Petroleum Engineering AI Joint Creation Laboratory in May this year.
