Xinjiang Oilfield: Innovative Application of Carbon Dioxide Pre Energy Increasing Fracturing Process

As of January 11, after the fracturing process of "multi cluster + carbon dioxide pre energization in bridge plug section" was applied for the first time in a new well of nanshang urhe formation in zone 5 of Xinjiang Oilfield heavy oil development company, the daily oil production has remained above 20 tons for more than 60 consecutive days, with an average daily oil production of 25 tons at present.

At present, by optimizing the production scheme of horizontal wells, researchers have completed the geological design of 31 horizontal wells, guided the production of 2 horizontal wells, and realized the effective improvement of single well productivity. The two horizontal wells saw oil on the day of well opening, and the cumulative oil production was about 4200 tons after being put into operation for more than 2 months.

It is reported that in the later stage, the heavy oil development company will further promote and apply the production mode of "multi cluster + carbon dioxide pre energy increase in the bridge plug section". It is estimated that 790000 tons of oil can be produced at the end of the development cycle, increasing the reservoir recovery by 10.2%, which provides valuable practical experience for the replacement development of more than 50 million tons of reserves in other similar blocks.
