After Sinopec started the construction of China's first megaton carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUs) project, another central enterprise successfully transformed its carbon capture technology. Recently, China's first 120000 T / a phase change carbon dioxide capture demonstration device developed by China Huaneng Group was officially put into operation in Huaneng Shanghai Shidongkou No. 2 power plant. After operation, the project can produce 120000 tons of liquid carbon dioxide every year, with a purity of 99.99%.
