Four People from China Geological Survey Lost Contact While Working in the Field in Yunnan

    On November 18, the poster reporter learned from Kunming natural resources comprehensive survey center of China Geological Survey that four staff members of the center lost contact when they entered the hinterland of Ailao Mountain in Zhenyuan County, Pu'er City. At present, the local emergency rescue headquarters has been established and is searching and rescuing.


    The staff of Kunming natural resources comprehensive survey center of China Geological Survey told the poster reporter that the center's focus is on search and rescue. The staff of relevant departments in Zhenyuan County, Pu'er City, where the incident occurred, also confirmed that four personnel lost contact in Ailao Mountain Nature Reserve, and the county Party committee and county government are carrying out emergency search and rescue work.

    


    According to public data, Ailao Mountain is located in the middle of Yunnan. Ailao Mountain Nature Reserve is the largest original Zhongshan wet evergreen broad-leaved forest area in China, involving 6 counties (cities) of 3 prefectures (cities) in Yunnan Province. The area of Zhenyuan County, Pu'er City, where the incident occurred, is 135000 mu
