Drag Reduction and Anti-eccentricity Device for Horizontal Wells

 

Key Innovation Points:

Innovative overall structural design: The device is equipped with several convex spiral belts and concave spiral water tanks that spiral around along the long side of the pipe body. The spiral belt is equipped with a rolling protection unit, and the spiral water tank is used to flow through the well flushing fluid.

Innovation in wear-resistant column design: The convex spiral belt is sequentially equipped with several wear-resistant columns along the edges, which are pressed and embedded in the wear-resistant holes, and extend out of the plane of the convex spiral belt, effectively preventing device wear;

Innovation in rolling element design: The convex spiral belt is equipped with several rolling elements in the middle along the spiral direction, corresponding to several circular holes, and protrudes from the plane of the convex spiral belt, reducing the friction force during the operation of downhole tools.


Main Application and Technical Principal: 

By alternately adding drag reduction and anti eccentricity devices on several drill pipes, the device is equipped with a centering section, which is sequentially equipped with several convex spiral belts and concave spiral water tanks along the long side of the pipe body. Among them, several convex spiral belts are equipped with rolling protection units, which roll tightly against the wall of the well body in the well body, providing protection for the centering pipe body and drill pipe. At the same time, the concave spiral water tank is used to flow through the well flushing fluid, The function of fully flushing the casing wall.
