Key Innovation Points:

1. Take the lead in the localization of wide-range electric submersible pump(ESP), with a displacement  range covering 20-200 m³/d. The high-efficiency zone displacement has been expanded by more than 25%. 2. The first underground gas-liquid separation and compression integrated treatment system designed for a  gas-liquid ratio of 500 m³/m³. 3. The innovative development of a sand retention and drainage device for pumps enhances the adaptability  of electric submersible pump to handle sand more than ten times better. 4. The first electric heating belt pressure anti-wax plugging system for oil pipes enables the reuse of heating  cables and operates continuously at a pressure of 35 MPa without interrupting well operations. 5. An innovative electric submersible pump operation control system based on monitoring underground  working conditions has been developed to achieve a dynamic balance between operating parameters and  formation liquid supply

Main Application and Technical Principal: 

In light of challenges such as significant fluctuations in fluid production, rapid decline rates, and  complex wellbore conditions during the early stage of shale reservoir production, a comprehensive range of  ESP lifting technologies and equipment with independent intellectual property rights has been innovatively  developed. This development is grounded in the fundamental principles of vane pumps, introducing a  pioneering hydraulic design and optimization method for wide-range vane guide wheels based on multiparameter weighted optimization. The design features a three-dimensional curved blade structure and key  core components, significantly expanding the displacement range and efficiency of the high-efficiency area  of the ESP. The innovative development of anti-gas, anti-sand, and anti-wax technologies, along with an  intelligent control system for operating conditions, significantly enhances the adaptability and stability of the wide-range ESP in complex working environments. This advancement provides crucial technical support for  the continuous and stable production of shale oil. The research and development achievements have  successfully broken the foreign technology monopoly and achieved the localization of shale oil lifting  equipment, which is of great significance for advancing shale oil technology to new heights.


Technology Application: 

The research results of this project have been applied to 15 wells in Daqing Gulong Shale Oil No.1-5 test area, 8H1 expanded test well group and seven test areas of scattered exploratory wells, and the average maintenance-free period of the test wells has been more than 400 days, and only 5 wells are checking pumps, and the average checking pump cycle has reached 270 days, which is extended by 199 days compared with that of the previous test wells, and the unit running time has been increased by 280.28%, and the technical results have already saved the material cost at the initial stage. 4624.62 million yuan has been saved in the initial period of this technical achievement. By carrying out research on wide electric pump technology, downhole gas-liquid separation and compression integrated treatment system, sand-blocking and sand-discharging device on the pump, oil tubing electrically heated pressure anti-wax plugging system and electric pump operation control system based on downhole condition monitoring, it meets the demand for high-efficiency lifting under complex working conditions after shale oil compression, and supports the shale oil's “digitalized transformation, intelligent production and modernized development”, which has good application. “It has good application prospects.
